Introducing Our First Project!

Oswaldtwistle Onwards is proud to introduce our very first community-led project:
The Tinker & Budget War Mural Project

This project is about remembrance, heritage, and community pride, shaped by local voices, guided by respect, and created with the community at its heart.

The mural will honour service and sacrifice while celebrating the strength, stories, and unity of Oswaldtwistle. From consultation to final design, this is a project that belongs to the people.

To make this happen we’ve invited two incredible mural artists

Hayley Garner – aka Aylo_Nomad

Christian Fenn – aka Seca_One

​

Both artists are part of The Butterfly Effected, a movement that uses art to bring communities together, tell powerful stories, and turn blank walls into something truly special.
